The metro includes 71 kilometres of track, of which 65.33 are in "commercial exploitation" (usable by passengers).

The metro trains travel approximately 59 million kilometres per year. Since 1966, they have travelled a total of two billion kilometres - more than the distance between the Sun and the planet Saturn!

- WHERE IS THE CONTROL CENTRE FOR THE SYSTEM?
The control centre is located at an undisclosed address in downtown Montreal. From this location, every train is controlled and the whole system is monitored. For security reasons, it is not open to the public.
