Éric Lamontagne

Born: 1966, in Saint-Hyacinthe (Montérégie), Quebec

Éric Lamontagne, a painter, photographer, and installation artist, has been showing his work since 1993. He received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from Concordia in 1995 and another in visual arts and education from UQAM in 1999. He has won a number of photography and other art awards and has received several bursaries from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the Canada Council. He has worked as a photographer for Voir and an art teacher. He lives in Montreal.
